She has been steadily improving and I believe she will qualify in the top 40 before the season ends. Wishing her the best and would love to see her on the gate for a heat race this weekend.

I think what she is doing is great, and very hard to do. But no, i don't think she will make Detroit or any round this year..

Wasn't she less than 0.5 seconds off the 40th person last race?? That's pretty dang close....

I think she'll have a good shot to be honest. She only missed the night show last week by .07 seconds! Less than 1/1th of a second.....I'd say she has a pretty good shot at it. I wish her luck!

We need some sort of new thing to talk about this weekend. I hope she does it. Can't wait for Sat night regardless of the runaway points battles and mia riders!

I'm surprised by how much she has improved and I think she will make a night show. I'm curious about how much support she gets. Does she have more or less support than the guys she is comparable to?

She exceeded what I thought was possible last week. From this point forward I have no idea what is going to happen. I'd say it probably depends on the track layout. If it's whoops that favor jumping thru instead of blitzing like last week, I'd say she probably has a good shot. If they put in 2 sets of fast deep close together whoops made for blitzing I'd say she has little chance.

Definitely more because she gets more exposure.

I hope so. It will give us something to follow as apposed to simply watching Musquin and Dungey run away with their championships. As impressive as that is to me, it does get a bit boring.

Never thought she would get anywhere close, so she's already proved me wrong.

definitely not rooting against her here, but last weeks track was very technical and not fast. i'll venture a guess that if Detroit is a faster track she'll be further back.

best of luck to her though, pretty awesome that she's giving it a shot

What is a 1/1th of a second? Wouldn't that be 1 second? lol

With the actual delta being .07 I'd assume he meant less than a 10th (1/10) which is .1 of a second. Give the guy a break. lol

I wish her the best of luck, but if I were one of the other privateers trying to make the fast 40, I would be pretty pissed that she gets to ride every press day so that she gets extra time on the track. At that level, the track time makes a big difference.

How many riders have they been having show up? Wasn't but just a couple years back they weren't even getting enough riders for the night show so yeah, she does have a good chance of getting in.

The rig she pits at is the smaller semi, the box is on the truck frame not a trailer, least that is the way i recall it. One other rider was pitting there also. Nothing special,no big sign saying "this is that girl"

I watched her the entire last session at Atlanta. After she did the triple (some idiot here is arguing with me in the dumbgeon she never jumped it) her riding changed ,less tight. If the bike had not quit on the last lap she may have made it,it was her best lap,did the on off better.

The bike quit in the turn before the triple, could been a blessing because coming up short on that would been very bad.

If you watch the 10 or 12 guys that are on the outside ,a few are in over their heads.

Whoops aren't supposed to be that big this week so I wouldn't be surprised.

Well of course you can find something to bitch about, tell the other 40 to step it up..

I think this weekend will be her best shot at making it. I have nothing against her trying and kind of want to see her get in, but all this extra track time is really a bunch of bs. was that really her in the group that got to go out on the track in Indy on Friday for some reason? I can't remember what is was but there was a decent amount of people that got a little extra track time on Friday because they changed some stuff up or something, it was on a little tv clip but i don't remember the reason.

After seeing her ride in person at ATL, I was saying to myself she'll never make a night show if she doesn't pull the trigger on that triple. Then in the last session she did it, and like you said, she definitely loosened up a bit. Bummer the bike quit.

It's probable that not one of those privateers comes close to providing the media exposure VG does.

My company is contracted with Fifth Third Bank. It took the longest time for me to accept that it's a legit name. I kept thinking my company was effing with me.

I just thought it was bad math.

Oh, and many factory riders don't get the media exposure that Vicki does.
