And with his bro's recent success do you think that may be a factor for him returning?

I would guess practicing with his brother showed him what his speed was

I think Tommy is rejuvenated and should go pretty good. My only surprise is that he went back to a 250.

He's fast enough. Got to see him pace Alessi at Cycle ranch one year, pitting out of the back of a pick up, while Mike/Tony had the full KTM rig.

Agreed, if he can run Wil's pace, he should do pretty well.

I think I read in an interview that the reason he came back to racing was because he was bored and he couldnt get the juice from any other activity.

I think his brothers success in winning the 250e title lead him back to the 250 class.

I dont know if he'll be fast enough to do any good. He sure didnt light the world on fire late last year in the 450mx class.

I don't think Tommy was super motivated his last year on the 450. Just my opinion. If he can stay healthy he'll get to the top.

I'm thinking he will be top 10 in points at the end of SX. I don't think he will crack the top 5, but he might be close.

I really have no idea. It sounds crazy to me think that only top 10 in a regional series is as good as he will be. But the new kids coming up every year just keep getting faster.

With His experience and Speed , I would be surprised if He doesn't win or be close to a few wins and be top 5 in 250 SX.

I just hope he stays healthy all season.

If Tommy finishes all the races, chances are his talent will get him some good results! Dude hauls but is fragile like unfortunately so many.

Will Tommy be fast enough?...
Tommy has never lacked speed. Fast enough to win a race? I'd say Yes. The guy has like four second place finishes in supercross so he has the speed. If I remember correct he threw away a 250 win on the last lap once upon a time. He has always been a good starter too so that helps. There is nothing more dangerous than a prepared and experienced man with a point to prove. The dude has unfinished business for sure. Gonna be tough though. The field is stacked!
