Wow, This is such a Rollercoaster video at first you feel like yeah that's awsome he gets this nice track to himself, Then boom. it just goes to show how quickly mx can bite you.Hope Him and Justin Weeks both get back to 100% one day. I couldn't imagine how easy it would be to just say forget life when something this tragic happens, But it's people like him and JW that are a great inspiration's. Keep on keepin' on Will!

I wish Will all the best.
All the depression I (and many of us I am sure) went through during my own personal injuries seems like needless whining after seeing injuries like these.
Wow, I feel for you Will.
You have good people beside you, hang in there dude.

Thanks for the post, opened my eyes to what I have.

For some more insight on Will, you can check out his blog. He's an incredible writer, rider, as well as photographer.

His first entry after his injury was called "game changer." I'll include the link, as it is an amazing read.

That was hard to watch because I have ridden with Will. He was always super smooth and never out of control. The sport can be very cruel sometimes and it really opens your eyes when it happens to someone you know.

Wow!! What a great inside look at what goes on with the rehab and the emotions of a paralyzing injury, Oh and OMG what a luck man he is to have a beautiful and supportive woman like his. I'm sure he thanks the man above for that blessing and hopefully thanks her just as much. She is , from all appearances, nothing short of incredible. It;s a shame how often the injured rider / person loses their spouse aftera injury like this one. Not always because the woman is shallow but most of the times , from what I've seen , it's just simply because they can't handle everything that goes with it. Combined , these two seem to be an unstoppable force when it comes to beating this problem.

Been reading his blogs. I'd say 10-12 of them so far , and your right about Game Changer being an amazing read. I'd say there's a few really good reads in there that get you thinking inside yourself..

Very good stuff.

I'm glad to see Will's story and this video getting some attention here. RiderDown.org has been working with Will for the past year and the support for this incredible guy has been nothing short of amazing. He has become a good friend and a true source of inspiration. Please keep the support coming!

Will is one of the fastest dang photographers around! I really miss seeing his photo work, he brought an artistic approach to moto-foto that cant be replicated.

These were taken at that track in the video, Nocona Mx, and i havent seen Will since. Have spoken with him a few times after his incident and if you think watching that video leaves an impression, have a chat with the guy. Failure was never an option. Thanks for the video and reminder DPW.

Kick some ass Will

Well done...

Not sure of Will's level of injury,C-? but holding his own on the Rickshaw with his triceps, and ambulating in the hallways. Still has great hand function as well...

Stay strong Will....

Will is one of the best people you will ever have the privileged of meeting. When I met Will it was at a local track and I was a nobody, but Will took the time to give me pointers, riding tips, and helped me get over a big double I was scared to do. Pure generosity, nothing more. Years later he helped me out with Answer gear. Same thing, pure generosity, nothing more.

Keep fighting Will and Carol, you're an inspiration.

That was impressive in every way. Don't know what else to say. What else can anyone say about that? And, Carol is a total stud.

My injury (partially shattered L1) was not nearly as bad as Will's but watching this still hit really close to home.

It's only been 15 days and I'm walking again and at home.

Good luck Will P.!

Pic below of me walking again for the 1st time on day 5 after the accident.

I've been hurt before, mostly roadracing, and none of those injuries ever had any effect on me until this one.

The other thing that is a struggle, is that I still want to ride again. So badly.

That is eye opening. Thoughts and prayers to Will and to all with injuries to recover from. That was difficult to watch but I could not stop watching. Makes me think about the things I take for granted every day.
