Many riders at the top have comeback for a relaxed farewell tour with at least a few showings. KDub, MC, RC, I guess you could say JS7 maybe? Anyone think there is a chance we might see Dungey show up at a few rounds maybe not this coming year but sometime in the future as a farewell? After all, the guy is still very young and could probably run at the front for another 5 if he wanted to.

I could see him doing Red Bull straight rhythm and that would be it. He's done with the rat race of SX/MX. Monster Energy cup would be a remote possibility, but IMO highly doubtful. I think its RBSR or nothing.

No, sorry he won't be. Dungey is all or nothing which is why he retired. RBSR requires timing and practice. He's done boys

I'm not so sure. I think he might have more passion to race than people give him credit for.

I don't think he took the decision lightly. I don't therefore think he will dabble at the sport again.

He has made reference many times to wanting to be a father so I imagine as long as that is what his wife wants he will focus on being a family man.

He earnt it, let him enjoy retirement and I imagine a long and successful career on the KTM management board

He went out a champion and has had a great career, so no he won't be making a comeback. Maybe in a few years he decides to race the vets MXDN or something like that, which would be awesome. Only time will tell.

He's done. He bowed out gracefully and can hold his head high. He accomplished a lot in this sport. Can't go out on a better note then what RD just did.

He mentioned it many times that it has become a mental struggle to stay on the edge, and that his neck injury and the one for Roczen has weighed on hid mind heavily...he is done.

I don't see him coming back. He knows how much dedication it takes to be up there and he just bowed out from that.

No.

I think you'll see him in the Tour de France before you see him at a race again.

Come on man, what else are we going to argue about? Crickets in Hane City, Davolos is finally on a 450 and Chad Reed is on vacation for the summer. The buffet is getting pretty thin.

He said in an interview he will not be doing any one off races or farewell tours. He said he will be at the races here and there but not riding. He also said when he retires he has to be done done. No doing the comeback thing.

So no 150 ft. jump on his parade lap at the Red Bull Hangtown Nationals?

I think he'll do exactly what he said he was going to do...stay on around KTM to support Marvin during the Nationals this year, and possibly in the future. He didn't say anything at all about more racing, and I believe that meant he was done in that respect.
