Why not let financially struggling privateers ONLY ride 250 2-strokes?

I know this is unlikely to happen, but I'm throwing it out there. listened to DC on the DMXS radio show and listened to him explain things. But what if financially struggling privateers were allowed to run the 2-strokes, and only them? Judge who gets to, and who doesn't get to based on their taxes, and if they're having to haul their asses to the race with a pickup truck etc. - true privateers. If anything, it would give the poorer riders a bit of advantage. I doubt it's enough to get them into the top 10, but it couldn't hurt.

Anyways, just a thought; now hammer away!

Ya no kidding. At tech you have to show your P & L statement along with last 2 years taxes and last 2 months bank statements.

Struggling? Hell these days even some of the wealthy ones are struggling. I know some people that have a tough time making it paycheck to paycheck on a quarter mil a year. Fucking hilarious I'm telling you. One of my former customers was knocking down 1.5 - 2.0 million a year for almost 15 years and he's now homeless. The house, Z8, Panoz, Turbo Porsche, Hummer and 550 Barchetta all repo'd. Almost a JLaw story, which is the one person who could use the YZ250 2 stroke to lay waste to the field. Just needs to be on the work release program to do it. Wonder if Alpinestars could build him some custom boots to fit over that ankle bracelet? Smile

The illegal immigrant privateer gets a free bike and hauler. All the spectators have to split the cost of his food and pay for his gas. If he brings his kids, they get the same.

Privateer is the guy on the $10,000 bike, lined up next to a $100,000 bike. But at least he doesn't have to worry about equal sized 2 stks in the race.

They could probably use the money they would save by just abandoning 4 stk race teams for a couple years until things got better.
