I used to get somewhat bored after watching a ton of Arenacross, but the announcing that Weege does keeps you (at least me) into it. The dudes excitement about the race seems so genuine. Its like its not even a job for the guy. Plus it seems like Fro and him flow so much better together, and are on the same page.
I'm not trying to hate on Ralph, but it just seems like maybe its time to give another guy a shot at it. I sure hope to god that if anyone ever replaces Ralph its Weege. Dude could make a backyard race with two beginners on a flat track seem exciting...

Network contracts = Ralph
Shaheen is the Speed TV guy and it doesn't matter how good or bad we may think he is, he is the networks guy in motorsports.....period, end of story.
Only way you are going to see Ralph leave the building is if he dropped an F bomb on live TV or said something else wildly inappropriate.
By the way....I woud love to see Weege get the gig because I totally agree the guy is a great announcer.

I love his commentary, so I`m not complaining about it! I`d love to hear more from him. And also, it would be great if Weege and Malin shared the booth together for the MXDN`s

I think its all about who ya know...and Weege knows DC.
I think Weege is great and wish he could get a shot at the sx booth also.

Weege is the shit. He puts incredible effort into everything he announces, and I love his genuine enthusiasm. I'd love to see him paired with Emig indoors too. Let Ralph stick to the 4 wheeled Speed broadcasts.
