Stewart/Bogle Fined


I think it's crazy that Malcolm is also being fined! Yes his move was dirty, he cuts straight across underneath Bogle. But, Bogle is the only one who took a swing....Doesn't make sense to me.

Malcolm could have easily squared up the corner and passed him in the next section. Since he didn't, they both get poorer results and a fine. Dumb move IMO

I agree it was great entertainment. I just don't understand how the hell they can fine Malcolm, i also say he completely took out Bogle but if you're gonna start fining guys for questionable racing shit is really gonna get crazy!!! I can understand fining Bogle for slapping Stewart i just don't see any damn reason to fine Stewart!

Difference is Reed squared up and was trying to motor away. James gassed it right into Reed. You can see the roost coming off James tire.

I understand not fining Bogle. His actions were heat of the moment human nature.

I just wish Malcolm received the same benefit of the doubt. Fucking jackasses the "powers that be" are. They ask these kids to go ride tracks that no sane person would. To hit a triple at the speeds they are going is beyond logic and reason. Yet at the same time they expect a rider to play by some unwritten rules that call for them to be "smart and safe out on the track". There's nothing safe about supercross or dirtbikes for that matter. The moment they step out on that track, it is a necessity to turn that decision making part of the brain off.

Oh, and dont expect Durham to get a fine. His teams title sponsor is the same title sponsor of the series. Whom took out a rival sponsored rider. No way in hell that Double D would be fined.

the fine was to warn both riders to not make a habit out of attacking each other in future races. the heavey hitters,reed,stewart etc as much as its hard to believe, have respect for one another.

Watch the video. There is no way that's a block pass. Reed knew he couldn't pass James so he pulled some shit and just cut across the track. It made zero racing sense other then to just completely block James. It would have been a ridiculously slow line because Reed would have had to basically stop and make a 90 degree turn. James was on the gas and committed to making the turn way before Reed got there.

Everything about that move was brainless, the timing, the set up, the execution. Clearly not a very intelligent rider, and if Bogle would have pulled him behind the trailer and put a beat down on him after the night show I don't think anyone would argue it is not justified.

That being said, he (Stewart) should not have been fined.
