Don't let off right before entering them, Stewart doesn't. If your afraid, build a set of whoops that are smaller and practice entering full speed until comfortable. Then slowly start to build them up and repeat. Your ego won't take such a beating next year. Disclaimer: when whoops get rough, do not copy Stewart's crash technique after said whoop enter speed.

You have to have balls the size of watermelons and the skills of js7/tp199 etc. to hit a gnarly set of whoops as fast as they do without fucking killing yourself.

He's got a cool, calm and collected presence about him in his return. Hope his time off helped him focus on consistency so he can finish out his last years completing full seasons. The speed is still there to cover the field on any given night.
He's been calm and cool in his 4 minutes of competition on a track 100% suited to his talents.. Let's see how the first 4 rounds go
