The bikes sure do look awesome in HD. The gleam of the Factory MX bikes under the lights, the sweet looking sportbikes and chrome on the Hogs!! I love it! Normal TV just doesn't cut it anymore.

With HD I have a better chance to see the bike numbers.
I know, I know, somebody of my extensive motocross/supercross knowledge should know each rider just by the tire pressure they run!
Well, tough lickins, I am old and can't see the races as well with regular tvTongue

It'll take me a while to figure out who's who. With all the team changes and new numbers.

I failed to mention - that the "MAV-HD" Channel, at least since I've been paying

attention - has been providing more motorcycle-related programming than

any I've ever seen, ever.

The other reason may be that the people who are drawn to motorcyling also tend to be up to date technologically speaking and are more likely to pick an HD channel to watch instead of regular TV. Case in point, my wife, she could care less if the program she is watching is in HD. She does prefer the HD if she is watching SX but it isn't a requirement as it is for me.
