Why is the St. Louis SX starting in the middle of the afternoon on Saturday? Is there a scheduling conflict with a night time event elsewhere in the city?

They're doing two day races this year...both on FOX regular programming.

Hopefully it gets rid of the drunks in the crowd. If it does, I have no issues with an earlier start time.

Well said. Also it's nice to know your day can be planned around the race more than your night. West coast races aren't easy when you're out east or even central, I wish they had more like this.

No kidding time of day has nothing to do with how much a guy can drink during a certain window of time.

No shit! I am 42 and am going downhill fast! Both knees hurt, I can't run anymore, I can hardly see...and I used to be able to drop the winter weight (10-15 pounds) in a month....and now it just keeps hanging around (literally). This getting old shit blows!

In my 30's I thought..."this getting old is so easy, I don't understand what all the bitching is about."
When I hit 40, it was like hitting a brick wall. lol

He ain't lyin'! The aches and things not working right is one thing, but on-topic, the hangover you get after something like 9 light beers in your 20s, you are now lucky enough to get after 4 beers now and the recovery sucks worse over 40. It is one way to really cut back on drinking, whether you like it or not. Anytime I see someone my age or older getting hammered, I just cringe.

So... Drinking at 2PM doesn't happen anymore, no matter how "spirited" the activity may be.

I sure as f*** don't trust Fox to not try to screw us again. Especially with it airing on Big Fox.

Trying to figure out how to get the DVR to start recording on Fox, FS1 and FS2 all at the same time so that I'm covered no matter what they do.

Much like having a day race at the Coliseum.
A couple of race fans got murdered after the last night race or one of the last night races there.
Parked in the wrong area or were lost looking for their car.

At least I'm not alone Woohoo

I'm about to hit 45 and can barely use my shoulders, wrists, hips, knees, ankles and my left foot feels like it's made of a bag of broken pretzels. Throw in some carpal tunnel and partial blindness as well and the "golden years" ain't sounding so hot. And I felt freakin' FINE five years ago!

I don't see Heidi programmed anywhere in the Fox system so we should be good.

Stoked for the prime time showing of the sport for the other parts of the country. 9pm - 10pm start time is not prime time for anything. Hope they can do more of this moving forward.

With 65 seconds to go......that's a lap and a half in Supercross. A lot can happen. Just ask Heidi. Smile
