There's a lot to be said about letting one's body heal/recovery. Some think it's more important than how hard you train. Just look at Connor McGregor in the UFC for example. Plus, Reed has a kick-ass wife that keeps him young.
Reed's partying has cost him a championship or two, but it's also kept his mind fresh and probably a good reason why he's not burnt out at this stage in his career.
He's made a fan out of me over the years. Every time you think his career is over, he comes back and makes a run at the championship. I still think his run in the 2011 season was as awesome as it gets.

What is more interesting to me is Reeds comment that he feels his old trainer steered him in the wrong direction last year in a BIG way. Reeds old trainer is now working with Ken and Reed thinks that's awesome and that he's going to screw Ken up as well!
