Will they put Reed,Poto and maybe Canard in the first heat?Would it be safe to have Stewart and Dungey in the same heat race? I know, I know...but I'm getting excited about this weekend.

I believe it just depends on their qualifying lap times.
I believe they stagger them.

I would like to see...
Reed & Stewart & RV in the same heat and Dungey & Canard in the same heat.

Uh, isn't it the odd-fastest lap-times in heat 1 and the even fastest lap-times in heat 2?

Based on lap-times:

Heat 1-1,3,5,7,9,11...etc. (1st fastest lap, 3rd fastest lap...so on)

Heat 2-2,4,6,8,10,12...etc.

It's crazy to think that even in practice that any one of 4 (maybe more) riders could be fastest.

It wouldn't surprise to see Reed, Dungey or Villopoto outside the top 3 (obviously one of them has to....you'd think).....Stewart outside the top 3 would be a shock. HURRY UP PRACTICE 1!!!!!

J-Law will get the 3rd time, Villopoto the 1st, and Dungey the 5th.... thus pitting villain against two super heroes.

Ddavis was close, but they put the fastest Qualifier in heat 2. At least this is how they used to do it for many years.

Heat 1 - 2,5,6,9,10.13.14,17,18
Heat 2 - 1,3,4,7,8,11,12,15,16,19,20

That's interesting - I always thought it was evens in one heat, odds in the other. Thanks for clearing that up! That said, it makes heat 1 somewhat 'easier' than heat 2, with 2nd fastest racing against 5th, 6th and 9th, vs the fastest against 3, 4, 7 and 8....
