There is a thread in Non Moto about it. Had to do with dimpled paint, or surface, on cars decreasing drag, therefore better gas mileage.

They dimpled the surface of a car, 3 more gallons per mile was the outcome.

I was waiting for a someone should dimple an engine valve joke.

There is a reason golf balls have dimples and golf ball companies have experimented with different sizes and patterns of dimples.

There's barely any flow there comparitively speaking. The valve is the primary restriction.

Williams do you have a patent on that? I am surprised others haven't followed. It's no secret that the dimples help flow. Golf balls, Snow Skis, Snowboards, Wake boards have all gone through dimple reiterations. Some stay some continue.

3 more gallons per mile?

Well, that's not exactly performance.

Next week they will be finally putting to bed that 2-strokes aren't better or cheaper than 4-strokes

I found a company a couple months ago that stole the idea from Jesse, I forget who it was now. I am 99% sure Jesse is the only one who can build and sell dimpled valves, I am sure he'll confirm that.(or make me look stupid)

My Honda rep pulled up in his Ridgeline with major hail damage and I asked him why in the hell hasn't he swapped it for another. Well last night he texts me telling me how he is saving the company tons of money.
