The stock pipe on my KX250 is getting a little beat. FMF or Pro Circuit? Too bad Williams doesn't make them anymore.

I have an 04 YZ250 with a PC and loved the power band. It was more of a mid and up. Put in a MotoTassinari reed valve at the same time so it was not only that. The bike was a blast to ride after that. With the stock pipe and reeds it kinda felt like a thumper power band. My son uses the bike now and the quality is good. Held up well.

neither...Dubach or yoshimura...If you have the monster graphics and you want it to look like a traditional factory bike then go with the PC but preformance wise would be a dubach or yosihmura

I'm running a PC works pipe with a shorty and a vforce on my RM. It works good. It has quite a bit more mid than my stock stuff. If I ever need a new one, I think I might try an FMF factory pipe.

I would buy a pipe from Jesse in a second if he would make me one though. I wish I was as cool as T-fish, but whatever dude.

Why would anyone buy a pipe because of graphics?

Well maybe not for a kawi...but i got to test out PC, FMF, White bros, Akrapovic, Dubach, and yshimura on a crf250r and on a rmz250 and overall through both dyno and firsthand track riding, the dubach and yoshimura prefomed the best theyre really strong from the bottom through mid range.

Williams will build you a pipe... call him.

If you dont go with the beautiful works pipe (Yes, its a hand made cone pipe), run the pro circuit with a shory silencer.

Man running those hand made cone pipes is like taking a Range Rover off road. They are made to do it but they are works of art(the pipe) and the RR is just a real nice car you don't want to scratch and abuse.

In defense of the youngster, suzukirm12594, I use to try to make all of my bikes look factory (graphic, pipe, you name it).

If Jeff Ward was running Renthals on his Kawasaki SR 250, I was running Renthal on my KX 80.

I like my bike to look "factory like". Not to the point that it has to be exact but real clean and sano. Very efficient and functional. That pipe is making me dribble.

Save your money buy a Leatt brace. Exhaust pipes are over rated.

Hmmm...Paint chips for breakfast ?

It's a KX250...That's a 2-stroke, so of the mentioned, only 2 have an available exhaust, and one (White bros.) is no longer in business.

I agree with CamP

My opinion to the which pipe...go to ebay, and find another stock exhaust.

It's the best for that bike, keep the muffler packed, and it out performs anything, in a wider range of performance. FMF makes several pipes for that bike, find where you want more power, and buy that pipe...the PC, will lift your mid, to top.

I had a 05' KX250. I bought a PC works pipe and shorty silencer for it and also installed a V-Force 3. I ended up taking the PC stuff off and putting the stock pipe/silencer back on and kept the V-Force. Stock with V-Force worked the best for me.

That's three for the stock pipe...

I liked the stock pipe also...just put after market reeds in, and it was so crisp, electric smooth.
