Saw in TMX News that Glen Helen has now been made a round of the World Vet Championship. Seems hard on the Euro, vets who are all self funded to have the extra cost of coming to California, but the cancelled Britsh round was going to be a round of their series. Wonder which American Vet riders, Dubach, Dowd, Sun etc will turn out at Glen Helen with the chance of winning a USGP? Will Jody suit up to show us how fast the REM Vets are?WinkTongue

I'll take Feets Minert for the win. Legendary GH local.

Ryno, Dowd, Dubach, Kyle Lewis would all be elgible..... Windham would also be elgible and with no plans on doing outdoors it would be cool to see him ride.

First rider that came to mind.

Is Dowd exempt because he has ridden as pro within "recent history"?

Dont think so, last year champ Belgian Peter Iven was a pro rider only a few seasons ago!

If he's legal, he's my guy.

Quick, somebody!...track down one of those top-notch bikes just sitting in storage somewhere and plant Dowdy on a ride.

I don't think that would be a wasted effort.

Doug is one of my favorite riders but there is no way he could top ten at the GP.

It's the support class, dude ... VETS ... actually paralell to the womens world championship and now the 125 thing.

There are a ton of North American riders who could really kill it with access to this series. I'm sure YS and GH Corp hope the field will be heavy with locals, otherwise, who else can afford to show up?

Just went back and read the original post.

Hey, Rob....

Can you imagine Chuck Sun on a Service KX500AF at a world vet GP at GH?

Our Local D16 Vet won't be there.
I heard he's been real busy treating an outbreak of Hoof Rot on the local WI Farms.
That Sucks because he's been on the pipe lately

Forget the vets, Ryno should sign up for the actual GP.

I bet he would get inside the top 10, as he has plenty of local GH experience...
