Had the flu all weekend so I watched the Bar to Bar series on YouTube from 03 all the way up to 2016 since there's not a damn thing on TV on sunday.

Which season has been the best in the 2000s? I rank them like this....

1. 2011 (RV winning with Reed, Dungey, and stew having a chance in Vegas)
2. 2006 (RC winning with Stew and Reed tying for 2nd, nod goes to stew for more wins)
3. 2003 (RC winning with a rookie Reed giving a challenge)
Honorable mention: 2008 (Reed overcoming the Honda riders after breaking his shoulder midway through the series)

Even though Stew got hurt in the 2nd round in 2005, I still loved that season. Reed and Carmichaels performance in San Diego is probably one of the greatest races ever. I think they lapped 3rd place that night. It was EPIC!

2011 by far in my opinion. One of the best series ever! Such fierce competition, so much talent! Only thing that could have made it better was Windham winning a round (which he damn near did).

2011 - perfect storm as far as the stages each rider was in their career. Nobody seemed to have a clear upper hand. There also seemed to be so many title points shakeups that season it was impossible to keep count.

Dungey was super hungry to defend the title.

RV didn't quite have all the momentum he did later in his career.

Chad was in a sweet spot of his career on a bike he loved.

Canard was coming off the national lites little and had a lot of momentum.

Stewart still perceived himself to still be the fastest and rode like he had a lot to prove. That was really the first year he had to deal with a group of guys that could run his pace in his entire life. It was interesting to watch.

K-dub was K-dub and added a lot of excitement to some rounds. I was so pumped to see him latch on to Stewart's crazy rhythm combos in Vegas before he and Stew went down in the whoops.

2011 is by far my favourite year, my first year of watching Supercross too. I was 12, very excited when I stumbled upon it on TV after barely being able to follow the racing side of things before that and was a great introduction for me, will never forget it.

Championship came down to the wire and everyone had a shot. Supercross was great, Outdoors was great, MXdN was great, inaugural Monster Cup was great. What a year.
