If he doesn't decide to do any, I have to wonder if it has anything to do with a conflict with his "training & recovery" schedule...

If L&M can't even get to a National, the odds of going overseas for a GP are probably pretty small.

From: www.supercross.com

On racing the Grand Prix series, Stewart is looking forward to doing the business against the GP riders.

Here is what he said: I am not sure which ones, but I want to do the USGP for sure, and I want to do some in europe, I want to go over there and race for the win, not holding back at all, I want to go over there and hang it out. If I crash, then I crash. I am not in the series, so I have nothing to lose. It is a victory for the fans.

I asked bubba yesterday about the mxon and he said not likely. L&M Racing SUX! I could care less about supercross, I like and want the REAL DEAL, OUTDOORS is the REAL THING! Supercross is the equivilant to real Motocross as WWF is to Real Wrestling

He said he wants to do some GP's but just can't find a ride. Same as the nationals.

Or does his statement sound like bullshit?

I'm pretty sure that over here in Europe there is a team that is willing to give him a bike for the weekend Wink

No shit. Martin Team Honda Europe even let a Swede ride their stead (that's how desperate they are for filling in for DeReuver and Keven Strijbos). Previously when Bubbas was with Fox-Gear (who likes motocross) they where working on a deal where he could skip the Nats if he gave Fox exposure at some GPs. They weren't satisfied with SX only. Then mr only Supercross (who blames it on L&M) change gear to Answer and away went the GPs...

That's what I heard...

Seriously, I can't blame Stewart for doing what he does, and I have to realize he's giving motocross and its fans the finger. He even skips the MXDN. I just better accept where he stands in this.

Considering RC stopped by and did this two stroke race with his own bike, Stewart really comes out as rather goofy in my book?

If he can afford a Ferrari for his dad, I'm sure he can afford to show up in a box van and race a race or two.

The thing is he doesn't want to, or if he isn't catered to, he won't do it.

Race for free, schmee. Reed isn't making money accept bonuses, right?

He's doing these fan days because too many people are pissed that he's not racing. He better get his shit together next year or he'll lose more fans. IMO.

Dude lost hundreds of thousands of fans during the sx season last year then blows off the outdoor nats and now is too cool to represent his own f'en country in the mxdn.

His sponsors should reconsider the contracts because the USA mx population that buys all that shit is bailing on anyone who supports a leach.

He can redeem himself if he races Unadilla and Leirop. Don't hold your breath.

I just wonder how long it's going to take you idiots to get over the fact that he is not racing nationals. He signed an SX only contract last year and you all are still bitching about it over a year later. Get over it already. Let the kid have his fun. If he's not racing he's out spending money to help the economy so shut your yapper.

This is a memo that was sent to me from my uncle Sal of The La Cosa nostra society in Italy. He wanted me to post this (however his English is not all that great).

Dear,Mr. Books & Mr. Stewart.
The La Cosa nostra society wishes for your presence at the 2009 MXdN in Franciacorta Italy. We will not accept no for answer, there is no bargaining.
It's not personal. It's strictly business. It would be in your greatest interest to attend,if you know what I mean.
Any rejection of our wishes will be taken with great insult to our society and our country.

Sincerely,
Salvatore Lo Piccolo II

Where did you read he is blowing off the MXDN/s?

Or is that part of his SX only contract too?

Staying away will only add to the suspense.

Who isn't gonna want to watch or be at A-1?

I think he explained it a few times that he thought he could talk LB and the sponsors into it.

If he lost any fans I do not think that they are true fans of his. IMO

no disrespect to stewart but if you aren't racing MOTOCROSS, then do you really deserve an invite to the MOTOCROSS DES NATIONS?
