So after his US Open deal last year, whats he doing...does he even ride anymore. Miss the old days of him and Bradshaw banging into each other. Seems like so long ago.....

It has been said on here before that he is working in the family produce business.

I used to love watching him ride. Hopefully Matthes could do a podcast on him some day. I gather he wasn't well liked or had a dark past or something? Maybe he was J-Law before there was a J-Law.

He sometimes rides A Day in the Dirt. Maybe he'll be out there this year.

I think he was quite popular, just not with Bradshaw. He was fast but faded. One of the mags back then had a feature on him and how his fading/ lack of endurance was related to lack of body fat. Overtraining? No red meat? I don't know. Sure could ride though and seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor. After his career here in the states, he kicked ass in the Japan series winning until they changed the rules not allowing Americans to compete for the championship. I think that is how it went down and how he ended up losing his ride over there. Maybe someone else could shed a little more light on that one.
