Looking for a 2017 Husky TC125. Im in Texas and contacted a few dealers in my State. All of them said "Don't have one". All the KTM dealers in my city have any 2017 KTM you want.

Where's the Huskys? Too early for '17s or are they just a rare item?

I was at my local dealer today in PA. 2017s are in but I don't remember seeing any 125s.

125's are like buying a 2017 Camaro and telling the salesman... "I'd prefer the fuel economy of the 121hp V6 over the tire shredding power of the 450hp V8, please"

3 Palms has some 17's in stock. I test rode the 350 with traction control on the GP track. Unbelievable! Not sure when the 125 is coming in.

Might be true, but 90% of riders can't ride a smoker the way it's supposed to be ridden.

From what I am being told. Unless your dealer bought $15k in parts and accessories, they won't get many 2017's. There are A LOT of dealers in somewhat rural areas that don't have the market to sell $15k in parts and accessories.

There is some truth to that. They understandably have big expectations, but they are setting up some dealers to fail, in particular those you mentioned in rural areas with lower volume sales.

Wish the 300 tx wasn't $10,444 out the door or it wouldn't be in the shop. It would be in my fucking garage.

Did someone mention Lotus? I happen to enjoy mine.

But I'd also enjoy a 125 again if I can ever ride again. The 125's are a bike you learn so much by riding. And when you ride one well, you feel like an absolute hero.

As for the husky stuff, there was a crazy requirement for dealers to get bikes. They're restructuring their dealer programs. I don't recall if we've gotten a 125 yet. I work upstairs in parts.

We got all our 125's in and they were gone fast. Don't know if we can get more yet. As for some crazy requirements on bike orders, we didn't see anything out of the norm. Some crazy rumors out there.

We definitely saw allocation tied to what programs we took part in. Could be different reps at work though. Might be a fully direct "if-then" tie, but our allocation got slashed huge over what we ordered. Others in the area didn't get cut so much.

It's way more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than a fast bike slow.

Especially when you put it on the box in front of a bunch of 450's.

I don't actually. I ended up getting a Subaru Crosstrek since my daughter is going to high school 20 miles away each way and we have to drive her. My wife suggested that since I was looking at Corvettes a while back, maybe we should trade the truck for a sports car. The main reason for the truck was that I was riding, and since I can't do that any more...I've sworn since my early 20's that I'd own a Lotus in my life. And things just kind of fell into place.

So Subaru as a daily driver...and a Lotus for the toy. Little did she know it was trading motorcycles for more expensive cars. She does enjoy the Lotus though. Even takes it out without me.

And if you look around, the Lotus is one of the more affordable exotic cars. Shhh...don't tell anyone though. It looks way more expensive than it was.

I thought about going to non moto and stealing a picture of yours, but I really love blue cars. Particularly the 1960s blue/orange Ford GT40.
