He's probably somewhere in Anaheim - most likely in his teams rig.

I just want to see a four-way battle tonight. I would love to see it end with something like this:

22
1
2
7

Is that asking for too much?

Maybe they felt their 56.73 in P1 was fast enough to get a top 3 gate pick, and a top 3 gate pick would be good enough to get a good start in the heat?

Yep, if he's not healthy it's understandable.

If he is healthy, color me unimpressed.

Why does he have to ride if he has the time to make the top of the board?
He saves his energy, he saves himself, especially considering that Dave Castillo tweeted:

Dave_Castillo
Man... Just walked into the @__Asterisk__medic rig... Full house.

It also probably psychs out his competition.

James should just do the mains and really prove a point. He has this thing in the bag and he knows it.

He doesn't have to do anything. Don't some paying fans get to the stadium early to see the guys ride practice? I was set to do just that, as I was supposed to go to Anaheim this morning for something, but, it was cancelled. I would be rather disappointed to find James not out there, cause he set a good time already. That said, he may be hurt, so have to wait and see if that's the case.

As far as psyching out his competition, I doubt it.

sounded like the whoops were causing havoc, and we all know James has no problems there.

Were you being sarcastic about JS having no problem in the whoops?
Personally I think JS needs work in the whoops, watch him closely... he just plows WFO
if he were racing in the mid 80's with those bikes he wouldn't have made a single podium.
JS is not my favorite rider, he's naturally talented like no other I admit but at some point you have
to put in the work. Look at a guy like RD, he works out, does cardio, rides the road bike daily.
RD earned his championships the hard way, he worked for them. JS slacks off a lot, he lives and dies
by relying on his god given talent. JMHO.

Watch K Dub or CR ride a whoop section then watch JS on the same section very closely, its like
night and day difference,

We'll see if he can keep himself off the ground and off other riders long enough to take the #1 plate
in 2011.
