I'm assuming injury but the news must have gotten by me.
Pourcel elected to race last weekend, finishing seventeenth, but after the team consulted with doctors this week, they elected to have Pourcel stay off the bike this week so that he can be 100 percent for the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
The team has yet to make a decision on Pourcel’s status for next weekend at East Rutherford, NJ.
Through fourteen rounds of Monster Energy Supercross, Pourcel is fifteenth in points with a season-high seventh coming in Indianapolis.
"Christophe Pourcel told us after the race that he was basically cruising in the main event due to the broken ribs he sustained in a crash at Indianapolis. The Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna rider said that doing anything physical brings intense pain and that he hopes to have it healed before the Nationals."
