Hello guys, I'm just a motocross fanatic and I'm really digging the the 2014-2015 KTM 300 2 strokes. There are some unreal pics on this website of 2-strokes. My question is, where can I call to buy someone's old race bike or practice bike. Back in the day (many days ago) I would buy previous years NCY , or Noleen practice bikes. Is there an Enduro KTM race shop?

I'll sell you my 15 KTM 300SX. I just finished a complete winter makeover on it. It has under 10hrs on it total and zero since the rebuild. The bike is built right and it's runs better than it looks. If you're interested and want pics and more info on it feel free to email me at mx29@charter.net. Thanks, Mike

You couldn't build a sweet ride than Digger's. If you got the cash jump on it.

Craigslist!!! You can find some "Cool as Hell - junk bikes for sale" Every one on there for sale has never been raced, has less than 25 hours riding time, has brand new tires, was owned by a woman so it was babied, or it was owned by a former pro, they are up for trade for things that go bang, and they all need gone to make room in the garage. Take your checkbook, your big one, not your everyday one, and drive north to Slavens Racing in Colorado Springs CO. Jeff will build you a factory level KTM 300, but it will cost you.

Digger and I have a small game plan. That's exactly the type of bike I'm after.

Diggers got a sweet ride, no doubt. I just noticed the OP was in NM, so Slaves is just up the road for him.

Slavens is an off-road guy anyway.

Digger let me know when you get ready to sell that thing when you go back to a two stroke. Will my Ohlins fit on that bike?

The forks will fit (axle offset will depend on your lug). The 15's moved the axle back two millimeters which can be compensated for with an offset triple clamp.

The shock though...that's a whole different creature. It's not a straight bolt on!

What would I have to do to be able to use the shock? I have the set up on my 13 right now and it's unreal what a difference it makes to that bike

huckster, the shock will bolt right on, I put my ohlins on my 15 250sx. the forks aren't a problem either, just use the 14 spacers, that offset change really isn't noticeable and if it bothers you get a set of 20mm clamps.

I think he was implying if his Ohlins will go on a factory edition. Every bit of research I've done shows that the shock from previous generations is not the same as what's on the factory edition. New frame and linkage tends to make a lot of changes to the shock itself. Everything from reservoir location to mounting points. All the asking I've done says it won't work.

The Ohlins will bolt on to a regular 2015 bike without an issue.

Spot on, the shocks will not fit the 15.5 factory edition/16s.

This is a sore subject with me too..... Dizzy The shock will definetly NOT fit the '15 Factory Edition 450/250. Wich really blows.

Anyone looking for a "like new" Trax A-Kit shock (bought new in July) revalved by Factory Connection ? It is for sale in the classifieds or you can PM me.

Sorry for the thread jack, but Yeah.... All new shock on the new bikes, along with 90% of the rest of the bike. Blink

ML, you get my PM ? Give me some hood news buddy. !! Cool
