How is RV going to be received by Euros if he does dominate ? Will they love him or resent him ?
They will throw batteries at him.

So Bobby thinks a guy from Qatar will win the opening round then.

All I know is....they have some shitty tracks ( like we do )....and they have some awesome tracks ( like we do ).

I see RV doing pretty damn well on anything dirt. I don't really see him struggling in the sand but beating someone like AC in it would be damn near impossible.....the dude is really good at it , along with a few others.

I don't know why some people think that RV will struggle on rough stuff.....that actually puts a big smile on my face. The rougher the better I say. And to be honest.....I still can't believe it's happening. Going to be weird seeing him compete over there.......but also really cool.

I hope they boo Villopoto like the boo'd the U.S. off the podium in Lommel at the MXdN. Villopoto eats the hatred and shits nails. I have a feeling this is going to be the case when he hits the European rounds. It won't be across the board, as I realize the "Official GBR Colony Haters Club" and their President robgvx do not represent the whole of the European fanbase, but it's not going to be one big handshake.

I think it would be cool to see a healthy Tyla reel some moto wins too. Dude can ride and past WC. Last guy to beat Tony for one I believe.

Don't worry Bobby, the island monkeys will be out in full force either way.

Probably the latter. They didn't like it when Kenny Roberts went there and cleaned house, when Lackey and Laporte won MX titles and when we went on that ridiculous winning streak @ the MXdN.

Stop with the facts!!!!!! Everyone know MXDN started in 2012! Didn't count before then. You forget Trampas, Donnie, and Bob Moore.

If you mean beat as in Tony was out for the majority of the season in 2008 because of knee surgery, then yeah sure

Totally agree, as long as he gets the wins reasonably cleanly and stays reasonably respectful of his fellow riders.
If not not, look out for the bottles of piss and 5 year old kids hanging over the fence on every corner giving him the fu#@ knuckle sign!
A shame but true! Sad

This place NEVER EVER fails to entertain.
It's like watching reality TV shows: If you believe that the people that you see (or on here read what they write) are exemplary for the rest of the world, you want to leave this planet...

I honestly can't see that happening. Unless RV does something that provokes that kind of reaction out of people. Which I can't see him doing

Never as it won't happen he is good but not good enough to dominate gps on his first go if he was doing more than one year maybe

It sure sounded at the time like Lackey received a lot of fan love for winning the World Championship, he'd been there so long that he had earned a huge level of respect from almost everyone. The jackhole fan things seemed pretty isolated and limited to a few "homer" fans, not the whole crowds.

Exactly, I think on the whole the fans are massively excited to see him ride and respect him for making the decision to try for a World Championship. There's always a few that are an exception, but I think in general RV will get a great reception at Grand Prix's and I think he will have quite a bit of support too
