TLD is always innovative with their helmet addtions. Remember the MC era with the fins on his helmets, and then the fins with the flashing lights built into them?

Wasn't this TLD's first ever win?
Yes

I thought they were American flags, regardless, they looked sweet.

Hmmmm...
That would be cool if they (Team USA) ran something like that for The MxoN. Smile

So now the flag will be deemed good luck due to the first win ever by a TLD rider?

Hey, if we're talking about it, it must have worked as an advertiseing tool.

Pro-Circuit still wins as they do the engines for TLD.

I mentioned this in another thread on this same subject: remember quite a few years back when it was the cool fad to leave the tag hanging on the goggle strap? now that was lame.

MC ran an American flag like that on one of his helmets in 2000 or 2001 I think, can't find a picture anywhere though but I'm pretty sure Troy Lee was behind it then too. Everything Troy does oozes cool!

TLD Hondas are some of the best looking bikes in the pits. And their team gear and helmets always look great, too. However, the flags looked goofy IMO.

WOW I just noticed something...

Did you guys see that the TLD helemts with the flags have a SillyBands Paintjob?
I was wondering why everything on the helmet looked like a neon light, then it hit me... all of their logos and skulls are made of sillybandz.

I remember ultracross, where the fast guys ran streamers on their helmets so the fans could keep track.

Are those the things all the football guys are putting on their helmets? The stick on deals?

The silly bandz are on Cole Seely's helmet because he is sponsored by them.

TLD flag is ok, as long as they don't do the Mohawk helmet crap.

Yep. The flags are gay, but the mohawk is even more gay.

On a side note; their new uniforms look better than the usual clown suits... and fuck Rattray for piling up my boy Craig.

Brilliant advertising idea!
Isn't TLD having some kind of anniversary in the sport? Maybe do to that...

I'll second that.

The flags were just something different and fun, and yep, you guys are talking about it.

The flags are cheesy. what is it made of? Can any part of it create a possible injury? getting poked, or going thru a lense?
