What year are these CR's?

I was at the DC Vet National last weekend and photographed these two CR's.. anyone able to tell me the years they are?

The one on top looks like a 78 to me and the one on the bottom looks an 83ish.

Center Port motor on the top picture 1980.

My guess would be 1982 on the bottom picture. I can't remember the difference between the 82 & 83

The top one is a 1980. That was the only year of the double downtube.

The second one I am pretty sure is an 1983.

Bottom one is an 83, the shrouds, front fender, side plates, front drum brake, and safety seat are giveaways.

Yep, 82 had no safety seat, 84 had front disc. 80 CR250 up top with DG decal kit on the tank.
