What type of music would you like to see more of in edits?

I've wanted to try to grow a YouTube channel to at least 10k subs since 2012 but I've never felt like my editing (or riding) was good enough. I've finally gotten faster and my editing has gotten a lot better, so I finally decided to start trying.
The question for you is what type if music do you want to see more of? I like rap but I want my channel to appeal to everyone so I have to understand that most 10 year old kids and 45 year old adults aren't schoolboy q fans.

I was thinking rock but I'm not sure

Can never go wrong with rage against the machine and one day as a lion. But I think most people just wanna hear the bike.

Punk. Moto vids were built on punk.

When you want to grow definetly not punk or metal imo. You have to stick out of the other videos because nowadays its pretty difficult to grow on youtube. Your videos should be different to the others thats why people subscribe to channels. I really like the fmf video featuring jeremy martin, gives me vibes and i dont saw that kind of musicgenre and editing very often on motocross videos.

Not that i dont like metal or punk in moto videos but the question is how to grow, you have always better chances if you try something new.

None.. just none.

4 strokes sound shit , so just dont bother , and 2 strokes with music over the top makes me want to track people down and punch them.

2 Stroke sounds!

In all seriousness, i follow what Crush said!

Like the legendary MCM2 intro:

And the Terrafirma 5 1998 ama outdoordoos season recap:

Watched these parts thousands of times before going riding, allways got me pumped up!

this wont be a popular opinion on vital... but rap!! go back and watch the Vurb Select edits from 2011/12 or so when they were using backpack rap songs in every video. really fun feeling, especially works for slomo. or one of my favorite videographers Luke Cure/Blur Optics used a lot of top 40 rap and they worked for some reason. otherwise you cant go wrong with a good punk song.

Be bold! Be different! Skip the music. I want to hear the bikes. How about a little intro music and then fade it out and let the bikes be the music?

I upload a little footage from my helmet cam from time to time. One time the audio didn't record correctly so I mixed some music in there to avoid having a silent movie.

There were a bunch of comments on it from people who would have strung me up if they knew where I live.

If you cover up the sound of a two-smoke with music, you might as well kick a puppy in the same video.

I pushed this idea out there before, not sure if YouTube or vimeo could do it. On the start frame, a button that gives you the edit with or without music track overlay

Dubstep is probably the best, at least what I'd use.
