What to drink

What can I drink daily and during racing and riding and working out and cycling
I always drink water that all drink with little milk here and there but what do you guys drink out at the track other then water that can give you fuel to your body because I can't eat much when I ride I make my self eat but some and some times in the mornings on race days I don't have time to eat other then a banana so what can drink daily and while riding all day

Cytomax is great. That's what I use. Milk is terrible! You should definitely try to eat more than just a banana. That keeps you in a calorie deficit all day.

This is what I drink. Love the stuff and they have a few options as far as hydration mixes.

I always bring a bag of cytomax with me when i go to vegas. great recovery drink

Chocolate milk is scientifically proven to benefit recovery more than most any drink...I always bring a half gallon to the race.

Obviously you wouldn't come back from your moto and slam milk...Tongue .but after you hydrate with some water..

During the day, I only drink water and maybe a 12 ounce Orange Crush soda or two when I start to crash or to settle my stomach. I've tried everything: cyto, gatorade, this, that and whatever. I get heartburn or an upset stomach super easy when exercising. I have a super lame stomach.

After it's all over, it's a Coors light mixed with Clamato in a big cup mixed with ice. The best recovery drink I've ever used. I'm being serious too. Two of those and I'm good to go after the hottest most strenuous mountain bike rides or summertime motos. Good when washing your bike

If you're going to be out there for 3 hours or less, Hammer Heed. If more than 3 hours, Hammer Perpetuem. Drink a chocolate milk after your ride.

I will pound milk in 100 degree weather like its life in a jug. lol I need milk or I will be tripping like a crack head. Publix 2% yum

water if it's a hot day a gatorade or two as far as eating... A home maid ham and cheese sandwich is which cheap and goes down nicely during intermission

I drink pedialite before desert races/ worcs races. I have had good luck with the Hammer Heed/Perpetuem while road biking! Drink the heed as an electrolyte booster and Perpetuem as a carb replacement. (Not sure if it's actually a "carb" replacement, but it is for replacing the nutrients during a ride that your body needs)

Days before, not just the day before. You should start hydrating on Tuesday if you want your body to hold onto the water.

Whey isolate protein with some fruit 20 min before each session......gives u tons of energy and greatly reduces after session muscle soreness.....also helps ten fold with muscle burn.

I've tried so much, but I like the HAMMER FIZZ tablets in water. I tend to stick to water most of the day but in the morning I'll either put down a a Skratch Lab or an HDX and follow it up with one later if its a brutal day. Go to your local bicycle shop, they're gonna have the best variety of stuff and you can usually pick their brains about what to use if the employees are any good. I like the Hammer FIZZ tablets and use them the most frequently, I use them when I cycle and ride. But HDX has really grown on me its just way harder to get. Just try them all, I tried a few that messed with my stomach or made me light headed, the best way to test them is out on the bicycle because its usually safer then trying it on race day.

I also like the HDX mix, had pretty good results from that.

Havent tried the hammer fizz though. I have used the cytomax ready to drink stuff and that stuff gave me the worst stomach ache out on the bike.

If im cycling in the summer I use the skratch hyper hydration mix before long rides. Always seems to keep me hydraded. I also drink a gallon of water a day during the week.

Yup,good stuff.

And beagles have the right ratio of carbs to protein on race day,4 to 1. You just want to eat the carbs that are needed ,loading down on spaghetti the nite before is all wrong,it causes your digestion to pull water away from mussels to cope with a bloated colon.

Eat a blueberry beagle an hour before practice then same with motos.
