40 miles one-way to Milestone MX. Luckily since I only get to ride Sat/Sun the SoCal freeways are usually pretty empty... 45 mins.

I'll be honest there are a ton of tracks in the 50-60 miles-away range that I have yet to try because of the drive. 78 miles is a haul. Good on you dude!

36 min to Burleson MX. I love that place.

Everything else is about 45 min to an hour, too many good tracks to even list.

Closest is Trophy Club park, More of an offroad area with a small MX track but its mostly sand. Its only 15 min away so when it rains I'm there!!

Pala is 20 miles away. I haven't gotten the chance to go anywhere else yet. I want to go to Glen Helen, but that short commute to Pala gets me every time.

Corner track backyard...
Private practice tracks anywear from 30min to 1.5 hours away
Favorite track is 4 hours away, some decent ones 1.5-2 hours away.

To me the post above is crazy you haven't visited a track because it's 60 miles away?!

Did you have any places that were "private" but open to anyone in the Portland area?

The closest legitimate race track to me is 1.5 hours, but is not my favorite. Mt. Carol and Millville are my favorites which are about 4 and 5.5 hours drive.

I agree with yak's comment about not driving 60 miles to a track because it's too far. You either must not be into riding that much or are spoiled with places to ride. Even then, I'd still drive to the other tracks.

Favorite - 75 miles (1 hour 15 minutes) to Baja Acres.

Closest - 45 miles (1 hour) to Freelin MX

Other than those 2 every other track worth going to in Michigan is 2-3 hours away.

Pretty lucky, I like all the tracks around here:

Marysville (Estreet, MMX Sand, Riverfront) - 1 hour
Dixon - Argyll Park - 50 minutes
Hangtown - 20 minutes

But, if I had to pick one, I'd go to MMX sand...check out avatar.

It's 15 minutes to Lake Elsinore. So I drive 45 minutes to Pala, or better yet, an hour to Glen Helen. Cool

1 hour to swan mx, I used to be there every time the gate was open, still one of my favorites.

1 hour and 20 minutes to Johnsonville MX Farm

1 hour and 30 minutes to Buffalo Creek mx.

2 hours and 15 minutes to Underground mx.

3 hours and 20 minutes to 3 palms once.

Farthest I have ever drove to ride is 5 hours and 30 minutes to Red Rock mx down by Austin and it was worth it! Also been to Circuit of The Americans in Austin on the track bike. Those trips were a long haul!

Little track in my front pasture is where I ride the most. Some other private tracks are less than an hour away which is nice. Yes distance has kept me from visiting other places. I rarely make it all the way in to DFW or the Houston area. I am very blessed to have a ton of tracks that are close to me imo. But boy would a big track 15 minutes away be nice! I might never go home!

I'm in Oviedo, and go 102mi to ride my favorite locat track, HardRock. Takes about 1hr 45min.

Seems like all the places to ride for me except Orlando MX are about 1.5-2hr away.

Not really. There's a zone in Vancouver WA called, "Jones Creek". I always thought about making some turn tracks in a secret area over there. Just ride it until someone says you can't...

Favorite track is Speed Citi in Seaford, DE. Door to track is 2hrs 20 min ( 115miles one way). Easy drive (mostly highway) but it's a trek. Hard to believe the summer of 2014 I was driving down almost every Wednesday for night practice. Cut out of work at 4, be there by 6:30, ride until 10, be home by 12:30.

Second favorite is FOD in Millville, NJ - 1hr30min on a good day

I never thought I'd be saying it while it was open, but man I miss Blue Diamond. 1hr transit on a bad day. Hindsight right...

Average is hour n half but 3.5 hrs to go ride Washougal my favorite but I think the mx scene in wa has become pretty weak but if you live in Seattle area no such thing as a close track anymore.

1hr hour 52 mins (110 mi) to Lincoln Trails Motosports in Casey, IL.
3 hours (162 mi) to Motoland in Kingsbury, IN.
3 hours (161 mi) to Redbud in Buchanon, MI.

There are a few smaller tracks that are around the 1.5hr mark if I'm pressed for time.
