Interesting find. He always seems to have some sort of trick pieces going on. It's gotta be some sort of transponder doesn't it?

They can log it and post race (or post practice) do analysis by overlaying the GPS coordinates into a track map.

No, it's information for the team only, just like the data loggers.

ahhhh that's the LIT... yea, i seen some of the video stuff they produce with these things based on the GPS information

i wonder if this was the main event or the heat..... doesn't seem much point of recording data of the last SX race of the year but interesting that they allow this. I'm not saying they shouldn't but this is prime real estate and everything has a value

Because it's GPS, they only use it in open stadiums.
