Hey guys I work for A'me Grips, I'm not here to troll and say that you should all run our grips or push you to do anything, I was just curious what grips you use?

ProTaper Pillow Top. best grip out there in my opinion. the ends of the grip are really thick and durable so you're not tearing them up when you fall on that shitty concrete nevada "dirt"

EKS Brand has a new line if grips out and that's what Michael Leib runs. He's very picky and really likes them.

Soft Titium now.
I dont get arm pump squeezing tits. Ever.
OH. It's softidium. My bad.

Usually a half waffle or whatever is cheapest.
Something medium or so durometer. Too soft wears out too quick.

Renthal no waffle, medium compound.

Best grips out.

I tried the Renthal Kevlar dual compound grips and didn't like them.

I'm going to second this motion for these grips.

However, I have been using the ODI Emig grips for the last 2 months and really like them as well. I wish they were a little softer but otherwise they are really good.

I knew I liked you Titan! haha Those are our grips, Fasst is a dealer for us! Glad that you like them!

Thanks to everyone for the feedback so far! About what I expected, a lot of the ProTaper pillow tops and Renthal.
Kind of surprised that I haven't seen any ODI fans yet!

Edit: Ramrod posted about the ODI while I was typing this up haha

I love pro taper pillow tops but I must squeeze extra hard because I wear them out rather quickly. I also like the renthal dual compound half waffles alot as well.

Ramrod...I wanted to try the Emig grips but I dont know if I could get used to the bigger clutch side grip.

Is it really that noticeable?

One problem I have had with these is that it seems like the right side grip is a little long and it didn't go all the way onto the bar and left the end piece susceptible to being torn in a crash, though I haven't rode with them in a long time so they might have changed their design by now!

I must add these grips in, and I havent used them for a while but the OEM grips on the Yamaha's are money!

Just cut the waffle off and they are good to go.

+1

The harder end caps on the grips are the best, they hold up real well and those are usually the first part to tear on other grips.

A lot of the old school BMX guys ran our grips! We were pretty big in the BMX industry in the 80's! We still make the tri's, cams and round's for BMX but not the unitrons unfortunately. You can also get the tris and rounds for mx.

Fasst actually introduced them to me...and I'm glad they did. I switched from the pillow top grips, and haven't looked back. I really like them.

Thanks! The guys at Fasst are awesome! I've taken quite a few trips to St George to ride with Skyler and the whole Fasst Company crew is great!

Does anyone remember the original tag grips they came out with a few years back I think they came in red black and grey. I LOVED those grips they were hands down my favorite but I guess they dont make them anymore because I can't find them

I just ordered two sets of the Emig Grips. A buddy had him on his bike and they felt really good. I'm digging the way you can take them on and off with no glue required....AND it comes with an aluminum throttle tube to boot. $25.00 a pair....thought I'd give them a try.

I run the renthal kevlar grips, but I cut off the waffle pattern. Best of both worlds.

I've been runnig the White ODI Grips that the BTO Team runs and I'm blown-away at how long they last and how easy they are to clean-up and make white "again".
