I cant imagine coming down from that high and flat-landing like they were doing. Those guys have ankles & wrists made of titanium to handle that.

Look at the altitude on this one. Ugh. Reedy is a machine.

Factory Suspension works wonders.
It more about balls than anything else. There were a bunch of factory suspensions out there but Reed was hitting that section without fear. That was his make it happen spot.

Yeah lets not give to much credit to factory suspension, Reed could probably pick up a small bull, throw it across his shoulders and pump out ten squats!

Byrner was the only guy who was jumping over that 'wall' thing in the second moto, but he would just barely clip the top going over it. I had watched him do it every lap and decided to catch a pic of him doing it. Sadly he endo'd a bit and went down the one time I decided to shoot it. Talk about pushing your forks to the limit! Whoever does his suspension should use that one picture as advertising, he picked up his bike and rode off with it ! That guy is a tough mofo !

Did anyone see Townley clip the lapper launching over that jump. Lapper flags were waving but he went just right of center and rolled it. BT was on the move and ripped his right side panel off with a foot peg from what I saw. Sketchy.

And about that "soft" landing in the pic of Regal, it was soft to the point you would think they would just plant themselves when they landed. Reed was on the gas touching down to keep from getting spit over the bars. That was a tough jump. Lots of different ways they were getting over it.

Reed was going sky high over that jump in the 2nd moto. The first time I saw it I was sure his suspension was going to break. I think he was trying to use the downside of the first whoop as a landing.

That's basically what he was doing. Didn't get there everytime though.
