Did you think it was a easy layout? I thought it was a fun layout but not super technical and that made it safe for the amateurs? your thoughts?

I liked how wide and fast it was. Good layout and lap times over a minute.

I thought it was awesome. I can't think of something next year they need to do better, other than make a bigger wall when the starts come together so it's safer.

Track layout was awesome. Very fast, long lap times and cool rhythm sections. A pretty good blend of everything.
However, that little dip/ step down after the Talledega turn needed to go. Every other Supermini was casing it and that made it difficult to clear the finish line jump; which like four kids cased the holy shit out of. Straight out of the turn with no step down, it'd be no problem. Hell, even a standard little double would have been reasonable. If there's gonna be a Supermini race, this kind of stuff needs to be accounted for.

Looked awesome! Wish it would have had some kind of whoops tho. But still way better than last year. Love the Joker lane and the split start.

I think RC should be ashamed of himself and banned for life from helping design tracks. It was pure luck someone didn't get killed last night. WTF was he or whoever helped him thinking? RC was actually LAUGHING.....on live TV!! A disgrace. The only thing that worked (sort of) was the joker lane, but the coverage was so spotty that you really couldn't tell what was happening with that. Don't think I'd like to see it in regular races.
I DID like the TallaVega turn and the bigger gaps, (except for the little bikes) and maybe even the format; that was kind of cool for a change. Maybe 3 15 lap races instead of only 10 though.

I liked the 2 long straights in to tighter corners. The one across the two starts in the back and the one leading in to the stadium.
It was awesome seeing Villopoto, under braking, swing the back end to the left then to the right to set up momentum for corner exit on that back straight in to the left hander. Thought I was watching Moto GP for a second.

Just seeing guys have the time to try and set someone up road course style a few corners in a row got me going.

The track looked awesome, and Twitter was full of riders commending RC for the well designed track. Hell, a few of them liked the Joker Lane idea, which I thought was going to be a bust coming in.

Track was great, some wide open sections with nice and technical sections. Way more of a sx track then last year. The step up/box jump last year was pretty cool. Thought they wouldve put one of those in again.

I thought the split start was going to inevitibly favor one side or the other. They did a great job of making it even. I agree that they need to get them going straight before they merge though. That incident in the 250 class was just pure luck that nobody got taken out.
I really wished Stewart was out there. Lots of obstacles I feel like he would have tried to take a different approach to.
So are they done calling this half SX and half MX? It seems all SX to me.

I thought it was a pretty good layout-considering all the other dangerous SX tracks I've seen.
The split start was kinda neat-but agree the merging of the two groups should be rethought. That could get ugly with that hump/berm in the middle. Lucky somebody didn't get hurt there. ^^^(IWreckALot)
Other than that, typical SX layout-but better, faster and (I think), a bit safer than most.
I'd rather see faster/safer than a little slower/tighter-more dangerous.
If you know what I mean...

I thought "*If* the track went through a creek or a mud hole, it'd be a motocross track.".
You did say "if", right?

I don't think there is any way to make a SX/MX track in a stadium and keep lap times above 1 minute. Track was awesome though and the racing was great, can't wait for next years.

It's a shame about the regular SX series...
...that they can't be as exciting as Saturday night's MEC.
My whole family was in town and we watched the race together. (unusual for us) We, collectively, attend several supercrosses per year and all agree this one tops the past SEVERAL SX seasons.

Great layout and I didn't miss the whoops, but the split start will needs more camera's to cover the different lines.
The mini's did a great job and added exciting racing, considering RC never thought of them in the design

i think it was awesome.
in 2 years MEC has become basically my favorite single event to watch on TV. The tracks are wildly designed, the fields are stacked- the cash up top, the minis and 250 all stars. i really had a great time watching last year and a much better time this year watching.
