Must admit really enjoyed SX Live Coverage this year, Saw Perth Live but I like to see all the Qualifying etc.
Are u f**king kidding me???? It was the best SX ever in Australia - PERIOD - END OF STORY!!!
25,000 spectators - to all the Americans who don't think this is very many, just remember our population is only 20M compared to, what, 200M in USA?
My mates and I went, made it a 3 night boys weekend away, and had an absolute blast. I even bumped into Mike Porra and thanked him for putting on such an awesome event. Man I'd like to 'bump' into him again after hearing this........
By the way Jackson, Australia will NEVER get a US outdoor National. Besides being outside the US can you imagine the expense and logistics involved to make it happen.
And mate, we don't have tracks here of the caliber of a US National track. Gum Valley (Mackay) is like my home track and is one of the fastest, roughest, most scenic tracks in Australia. It sorts the men from the boys. But it would never compare to a US National track. Most of our tracks are only 1min to 1.30 long - the US riders would get dizzy going around in circles all the time
We had like 25'000 people there last year why the hell would they cut it out of the tour. Also, source on that.
A national championship can only be held in one country....
Your national championship starts this week doesn't it? will Billy Mac win?
1st Jay Marmont
2nd Tye Simmonds
3rd Billy Mac
4th Cody Cooper
5th Cheyne Boyd
It's a stacked class this year for sure. Here's who I couldn't squeeze into my top 5: Andrew McFarlane, Craig Anderson, Todd Waters, Dan McCoy and Dean Ferris. Any one of these guys can easily run top 5. Should be a good year!!!
The fields are stacked and I cannot wait for it to go off.
Billy Mac Maybe.
My Picks are
Opens Tye Simmonds, Todd Waters, dean Ferris all young guns.
Lites Mick Addison, Ford Dale,Luke George, Luke Styke ( PJ Larsen USA)
u/19 Shaun Redhead, Julian Cutijar, Ross Beaton
Be interesting to see how the 250 2 strokes perform, Hope Ashcan gets a start
Wish all riders stay Safe and front up for Round 2

As for the national thing.. would never happen. But would be good to see a Des Nations back here.... toowoomba would be sweet
There has been a bit of huff and puff about the QLD Gov contribution, which is zip by the way, compared to other states who actually contribute.
Our good premier will be so desperate for votes over the next few months that she will be throwing money around and it will happen, trust me
This weekend?
Simmo
Coops
Boyd
Pit Row
ill be interested in seeing how Dobbin goes in under 19's, he rode awesome in teh worlds last year, has got a good bike and team,

Go Golden Child, be a good team Blubba SX, Tye SX , MX and Mike MX pretty hard to beat
Really?
Lookin' up the definition of "Grand Prix," a game of snooker comes up.
"Grand Prix" means great prize.
Doesn't mention "global exclusive" anywhere.
Funny how the euros can think outside the box when Toronto comes around,
calling it an "FIM Championship". But mention running a US National
outside the borders and watch the pompous tell us how to be.
