The forecast is calling for thunderstorms, gusty winds, and the possibility of hail.

Either way, attendees should prepare for inclement weather before they head to the track.
This was also the year that Dungeys bike wouldn't start and he missed the 2nd moto gate drop, 100 yards from being a lap down, he stayed unlapped and finished 7th. Most bad ass ride in moto history.
Buh-Dum-Tssss
Get pumped
Without a doubt the most bad ass ride in moto history Roostsalot. There's a video of Dungey while it happened.
They wont postpone, watch radar and make a decision to hold up a few then go till dark.
I've raced in storms so bad you'd be climbing in a tornado shelter. One at Lorettas had lightning hit a tree just off the road beside a jump that caught the haybales on fire.
One at gatorback that blew the bike out from under me and broke my leg.
Good times
Pit Row

After thinking we were going to lose the Southwick National forever just a few years ago, I'm pumped to go back to MX338 again on Saturday. We need the rain here in Western Mass. It's been a dry summer so far. I'm looking forward to hearing a few two strokes too. My buddy was at the track today. He called me up and said Barcia and Decotis were hauling the mail.
More like loam than sand. The berms are going to be insane. Hopefully they'll develop multiple lines.
