Hahaha, that dinosaur, as you call it has more HP more tourque, better suspension (or as good), and better handling than a 4 stroke of the same size. Oh, and yes theyre definately more fun..
Dinosaur....sheesh.

Didn't like the new design until I saw this, now I would consider getting a new rear section if I get a 250 (have a 125 now I want to get rid of)

I couldn't believe how strong my '09 was when I bought it brand new. Still the fastest bike I've ever ridden, too fast for my skill set.

Congrats! Hopefully it helps the manufacturers come to their senses. Way cooler bike than a 250F, in my opinion.

Do you sit on it everyday, giving the levers a pool and then fantasize blitzing the whoops while she's still on the stand? ....I would be every morning.

When I got on my 13 it was the first time I had ever ridden a 4 stroke. I started off thinking "this isn't too bad" then the power hit. Haha. Holy shit I thought I was going to loop it out on the test ride. It definitely has more power than you'd think.

they dropped the spring for 13 and the pro taper brand bar, probably cost to much, still has a fat bar but no name

Nice bike! Not really a fan of the newer Yamaha graphics they kind of strayed from the old clean look. The bike Z112 posted is sick minus the black rims. I'll be joining the 06-09 YZ250 club next year.

Too bad they don't race with the same size bike. Now compare the "in class" specs (450) and see how bad it'll be. Hopefully theres tracks that have two stroke classes but my local doesn't.

Good on you for admitting that. A lot of people don't and end up in the hospital.

Aesthetically I think the new rear airbox/numberplate looks very cool and then I got a closer look at my local dealer and part of it free hangs like a number plate. It looks susceptible to getting broken due to where it is at (the black area) and how hard the plastic is (i.e. brittle) i'd be a little concerned about cracking that part of the airbox as it sits in an area that the side panel number plate used to be .....hard to explain but if you look at one on the showroom floor you'll see what I mean
