With rain today, there were no bikes on the track for press day. They may get a short shot in the morning. In the meantime, here's a peek at the track, and some of what was going on it the pits.
Thanks for the pics GuyB , THATS A cool helicopter have you tried getting an arial shot while everyone is on the track?
is that big step up triple still there in the north west corner ?
i went in 09 and the only guys hitting it was Reed on a 450 and pourcel on a 250 which was pretty impressive that he was hitting it on a 250 and no other 450 riders were.
i think it was 09 anyway , trey broke his wrist there that day
Do you get to do some mountain biking as you criss cross the country Gibby?
I've gotten three notable rides in so far. One with the Works Connection guys in the Sierras, some nice singletrack (but thin air) next to Thunder Valley, and some really nice singletrack last week near Roanoke, VA.

That's cool, lots of great places on the east coast. I've always wanted to hit some of the best trails across the US. Have a great time and thanks for the pics.
Pretty wild little setup there...was it hard to learn how to fly? That looks like it would be a lot of fun!
It's actually not bad. There's a GPS mode that will hold it in position once it's in a hover, even if you let go of the controls. If it's windy, you'll see it fight to stay in position.
I'm taking the wife and kids to cheer on our local favorite Todd Krieg riding for Munn Racing KTM. Also Kaylynn
Kotlar will be making her debut in the women's class on the #55 Honda. Should be a great time!!
Wasn't there a hurricane in 2011 at Southwick or somewhere else on the east coast? Or was that a different year? Was that 2010 when Dungey rode from a lap down?

I think it would be pretty rad to take a photo while the racing action is happening with bikes scattered all over the track.
Wish the track still went down into the trees then back up like 2009... This shit was dope!
Pit Row
Should have maybe waited before I picked my fantasy race picks though... doh.
i may actually get to watch this live tomorrow as well - happy days.
