Good lord, I hope he is right, he looks like he doesn't even want to be out there anymore.

Sad thing is it's still gonna be a crap shoot, whether it will be much better, since they still won't abandon that cluster f*ck design, even with the 18, from the pics I saw.

It worked quite well for Langston back in 2007. Once he hopped on the 2008 midway through the season, his results improved enough for him to be 450F champ that year.

You do realize the 2008 was before the backward head design and the "mass centralization" BS, right?

Have you rode a 2008 and 2017 KTM? 2008 and 2017 Kawasaki? Honda? Suzuki? The bikes have changed. And it seems like the Yamaha hasn't changed for the best.

Oops, thought I hit the quote button. I was referencing the comment that Webb would be on the 2018 Yammie soon.

Yes, I'm aware of the changes that have gone on. I really don't think the backwards head or mass centralization are bad, quite the opposite (see their success with the 250F). Mass centralization by itself is well proven to enhance a motorcycle's handling, but if the chassis doesn't have the right amount of flex, if the geometry isn't correct (or a handful of other factors) then it's not going to handle well regardless of which way the exhaust comes out.

The des Nations is such a weird event, and Cooper rode his heart out for a 2-6 in 2015 and a 4-10 in 2016. Which is the speed range he's been in so far this year. There really isn't much of a gap between the guys in the chasing pack behind Tomac/Musquin, just needs to get comfy and build momentum.

Great PR for Yamaha that they don't have any bike on points in 450 races.. Imagine they been helping Wilson little more earlier this year and now bike been top10 every race that Reed and Webb could not deliver.

There is nothing wrong with the bike I think,....does every bike work for every rider? No. He looked better at glen Helen on the 15 at the gp. I think there is a problem with Webb.

Yeah he's not the same guy, whether it is the bike or confidence or one causing the other it's not good for him or Yamaha.

In 2015, his first race on a 450, he battled Grant and Febvre at Glen Helen. This year he wasn't close to Grant. He also beat Anderson and Wilson that day. The reality is Webb was faster in 2015 in his first race on a 450 than he is now 2 years later as a full-time 450 guy.

Febvre too has had set-up issues on the Yamaha this season and hasn't been the same rider...

When Webb gets the bike sorted and his confidence back he should be battling for podiums and even wins every week.

Don't look much different to me. Frame looks slimmer, but still looks heavy and the engine mounting is still the same. That's the difference between the Austrians and the Japanese, the Japs will continue down the wrong road for years before they figure out they went the wrong way and start over.

Seriously? How do we not have any idea what happened?
For all the bike haters! It's clear Barcia is better on the Suzuki then he was on the Yamaha battling for wins with Dungey.
