Really like what I saw from Webb tonight. Silenced a lot of haters. Hopefully he can get some momentum going now.

I agree! Now he knows he can hang with the top 5.
Couple more rounds and a podium, he progresses always

He looked almost like his old self, especially in qualifying. I wonder if he or his team was telling him to lay low the first few rounds just to feel things out and get a good look around the class and avoid any major mistakes?

Somebody posted about his bike sounding different. Is there any truth to that? Maybe he's riding a 350

I am not comparing him to villopoto but I believe his big bike career started very similar. He took some rounds to get up to speed and by the end of the year he had a couple wins. I don't think Webb will win a round this year but I do think his results will improve drastically the last couple rounds.

It was great to see him improve, I bet it helped his confidence as well! I agree, silenced some haters.

Definitely riding very loose in qualifying and turning with the rear wheel ala RV. Completely different than the first few nervous rounds, aggression almost like he was back in the Lites class.

I second that opinion, born in Morehead City, NC this guy is the home town hero to root for for me, and his success seems to be only rising. i was okay with a 10th in A1, thinking he just needed to put together some motos and get the ball rolling, but SD had me wondering, with the 13th and all. I was hoping he would figure out whatever it was that seemed to be affecting his speed. I dont think anyone would doubt he has the speed to be top 5 this year but the first two rounds he was just now showing it. A2 im hoping will be the boost to get the ball rolling
Momentem seems to be a huge factor in rider confidence and performance. Thats why a few bad results had me a little worried becasue then you may start to believe you dont have the stuff to be a top guy. Webb digs deep and races hard im excited to see how the rest of the year builds for him! Go Webb #2
