Cypress, CA - March 2, 2017 –Monster Energy/Yamalube/Chaparral/Yamaha Financial Services/Yamaha Factory Racing Team rider will miss this Saturday’s Toronto Supercross as he continues to recover from the shoulder injury he sustained two weeks ago in Minneapolis. The announcement was made by Keith McCarty, Motorsports Racing Division Manager for Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A.

Cooper said, “I was really hoping that I could race in Toronto, but my shoulder is still really sore, and I need to give it a little more time before I can return. I’m doing everything I can to recover--listening to my trainer and rehabbing--and I hope to return to the track soon.”

Best to be ready instead of rushing back.

He's just plain lucky if it doesn't require any surgery. Can't believe he doesn't have a small tear to the labrum or cuff.
I know Canard got out by rehabbing his shoulder earlier this season, but Benny Bloss wasn't so lucky.

He's out of the running, not like the outdoors where he could manage points while healing.

I just hope he races daytona!
I was pissed he missed atlanta as I was there, so I passive aggressively bought tickets to daytona. If he misses daytona and I have to fly somewhere for another round its really going to upset the ol' wallet. Not a good year to be a roczen/webb fan, thats for sure.

Those Pro MX shoulder injuries are strange. Look at Adam C. when he suffered absolutely no injury to his shoulder in the USGP crash, but was off the bike for 2 months. Wink
