Very nice. I assume that is you? How did you like the bike? Was it the new e-start one?

I did the shooting, Michael did the riding.

Yep, two new e-start off-road models (with very different personalities) based on the YZ250F.

Nice! Suppose I had one of those parked in my garage next to my street bike. And suppose there was an earthquake (we have a lotta those in Calif.) and the license plate from my street bike fell off, and then in the confusion I accidentally bolted the license plate onto my non-street legal YZ and then also accidentally rode said YZ on the street. If a particularly astute CHP officer or local PD officer spotted me and realized "Hey, that ain't not supposta be on the street!" how much trouble would I be in for my innocent mistake? Anybody experienced anything like this? Hmmmm?

If only they'd take the YZ250 2-stroke and punch it out to 300cc with e-start! Oh my!!! I'd have to consider changing from my KTM 300XC...

Worst thing I did in a while was sell my bbr ttr 125 for my little track here at the house. Loved that little play bike. My xr100 build isn't as fun to ride for some reason.

I used to get pissed when Gibbee would snap back like that, but when you get heckled enough you just assume people are being sarcastic assholes. Even when they're not.

In Florida, you'd be committing a Felony. I think Cali is even worse than most other states. They have no sense of humor.Wink

WR2fiddyF? Or R or whatever symbol they're giving it now? New rear slant EFI engine + E Start + KYBSSS + licence plate + kickstand. Yamaha is back! Hope they changed the detent though.

i'd say punch him in the throat. my 300 is street legal, bro

also, thanks for posting this Guy, i've been waiting to see the thing in action. you say "More Soon" but how long you think until more info comes out? a close friend of mine is a die hard Yamaha guy but we took him riding last weekend and he rode my dad's 200 and my 300 and the next day was calling around to every KTM shop in Northern Utah. i think if he knew there was this YZX thing coming out he may just hold out and get one.

Michael, looks like you had a blast bro. i'm jealin for sure

That's exactly what I was thinking too... the CRF-X's are the same way too. Maybe it's because I have a KTM, but they seem to be the only ones who can make a decent looking one.
