Awesome job and congrats at coming out and putting it on the podium during his first ride with the Pro Circuit 250 East squad! Mitch has got to be pumped and you should be proud... Great job to you, the team and everyone who helped make this a reality.

Below is a link to the 2016 Indy Supercross Race Day live interview from today:

I do not personally know Gannon but this is shaping up to be a great story and he seems to be a super kid.

Pumped for him. It was a little bit of attrition on the parts of Martin and Davalos but he still earned it. Way to take advantage of an opportunity!

Yes it is. Id like to see PC keep him for outdoors and see what he could do on their bike. Plus have an extra rider incase someone gets hurt. Win win on both parts.

THIS!

I haven't really been keeping tabs on the deal - is the PC deal just for SX or more?

Simply amazing! Such a smart ride to get out there and ride his own race.

I am so glad Mitch gave him this chance, and so happy to see him making the best of it.

I'm pretty sure that holeshot pot was up to 1600.00 according to Supercross live which makes it even better!!

Cool guy for sure, he's stepped up a lot, even with all the injuries he seems to come back faster than ever. Very nice young man! Way to go!

Nice to see a privateer get a good opportunity
I always like to see that and he seems like a good guy,
But i truly wish they would implement some rules
To help all the privateers
By making the bikes
More equal , every one has known for years
That PC Kawi and a couple of others are head and shoulders faster and better
Than any one trying to compete with them could ever
Get , or even attempt to afford ,
We have seen it many times that guys
Go Right to the top ten or sometimes top 5
When they get on these Bikes ..
Id like to see what the privateers can really do every week
On equal equipment, rather than just seeing who spent the most on there Bike and who has the fastest best handling Bike , IMO they need some production rules

Does this show the diff in the levels of a privateers bike vs a factory bike or do y'all think it's a combination of both the excitement and energy of the rider with a fully backed bike? Also, did get an outdoor ride as well or was it just finish out sx only.

My guess, the factory bike and program definitely help. Also take a talented rider to begin with and give him the confidence boost of riding for a factory team and the rider will elevated to a higher level. So I think it is a combination of things that cause the rider to start realizing potential.

I read once an interview with a rider who got to Race as fill in rider for some races , and he said now after racing this
Bike i cant believe i ever though i had a chance of a top 5 finish as a privateer!
I think it was a Geico Honda
And im not positive but i think the Rider was Daniel Blair
