What exercises do you do to get ready for something like that... so much up and down banging going on there....

Damn.. Fittest athletes around. Period!

I love riding sand but 3 laps and I'd be in so much pain at half the pace.

Ask Floridian Kyle Chisholm if the sand at Lommel is like anything else.

The scary thing is, we all know how much smoother helmet cams make tracks look and that still looked crazy rough in that video!

I would love to ride that track, I would suck big time, but it would be awesome to spend a day or two riding it.

Then sleeping for a week straight!

lol that was good shit...

I would love to ride that! I am a huge sand nerd and honestly learned from riding a place call Cycle Land in Nacadoches, Texas. It is a place that offers gnarly sand whoops on single track trails. It is nothing like that but it would be so much fun.

3 Palms could get like that if it was deeper, and ridden by more than the 10 pros that show up to a race.

Good lord! Man 'll tell ya what , anyone who says that these guys aren't in shape are crazy. That track is truly a one of a kind type track. Just brutal! It's one track that I wish I could actually try and ride one day ( even though it'll never get to happen ) , just for the experience of it. Props to Max and all those GP guys that have the privilege of riding there. Thanks for putting that up Scottie , definitely one of my favorite helmet cams so far.

The only thing I've ever seen that has come close to that in Florida was the old Diamond Back track...that place could be brutal!

It's hard enough when you ride it in the middle of the week, god knows what It must be like after a GP weekend.

I don't know how you can ride it for that long, that fast and not crash your brains out at least once. Last time I rode it I piled drived my head into the ground after half a lap.

Yes diamondback and also I think Dade city was a mini version back in late 90's which was RC's favorite amateur track and where I saw James Stewart on an 80 blow my mind pinned through those sand rollers and launching into knee deep ruts further than any of the big bikes. That video of Anstie is making me want to cry because I can't do 3 laps on a smooth track anymore. Lommel is for guys in serious shape. If you Google: Most physically demanding sport, Moto is what comes up now and this is why.

Cant believe how fast he is skipping over the bumps, and to think Herlings would of been yarding him. Crazy

Crazy! The start straight looks about the only spot that isn't too rough for me...

I know he's a little bit too out of it but it sure would be amazing if Max could make those points to the lead. His form lately has been fantastic.

Just watch a race from Lierop and you'll see it. It's absolutely nuts, no other way to describe it. While everyone else is going through the holes and bumps he just flies on top of them. I remember one race in Lierop(2012 or 13, not sure which year exactly) when he lapped Anstie, who finished in 3rd Laughing

That's how you play right there. Well done dennis.

I love the sand. Moved to an area of hard pack and I'm devastated.

Hate to say it but Villo would have been good at that round.

I love sand, grew up riding it. First time I got to Lommel I wanted to pack my bags after the first straight. It's not enough to say it's brutal. It's more than brutal. A lot of respect to guys like Max that can push like that there.
