A backmarker landed on him after the finish....rear wheel to the head and left shoulder. He crumpled to the ground and it didn't look pretty!

Yes. He slowed down so much on the big finish table, he rolled over it.

That was the worst thing I've ever seen. Felt chills throughout my whole body immediately.

Yep. Rolled the finish to celebrate an excellent composed ride and then landed on, took a huge hit from a Japanese lapper. Hopefully good to go in the next race as that was one hell of a ride from him.

On a side note it always concerns me when they roll the finish line doubles in SX and take time to celebrate for this very reason.

The Yanks sure want some though!
Them French's going to be hard to beat this next race with Feb and Paulin

I saw that some think it's Andersons fault, but especially outdoors I've seen people roll or slow down at the finish countless times. I don't think it's his fault, isn't race over once he crosses the line? I know everyone else must cross line also but surely the lapper wasn't fighting/gaining a position?

Did they say he even took the time to dress as a japanese rider and hop on a Honda before doing it?

You have the right to hate on people, but come on, Herlings was 6 seconds back, no way he could have done it.

You tell him! Besides, Herlings couldnt get high enough to land on Anderson because of the sand bags weighing him down!

Definitely was not JA's fault, and not really the Japanese guys fault either. But I'd put more blame on the Japanese guy than anything as he was close enough to see that Jason was going slow and probably wasn't going to do the jump.

The commentator said that it was Herlings! He also said it wasn't Herlings fault but the moment it was a lapper it was the lappers inexperience which caused the crash, Emig put him right thankfully.

It pains me to say it but I agree, that's what the podium is for. That being said, praying for Jason to be OK and not hurt.

I really like him but from watching the TV pics it was nothing but JA's fault, incredibly dumb move.
Celebrate after you won it all, that was just one of the motos...

I'm not saying that you can't jump on a checkered flag but if you are a lapped rider you are supposed to give the right of way to the leader. It's racing and sh!t happens I just think the Japanese rider should have paid more attention to who just passed him

I've never seen anyone post this before ja getting landed on? Guys have rolled the finish forever outdoors. Maybe I'm just way off but seemed very standard to me. And he was on the side of the track not right in the middle.

Since when do riders not jump when the see the flinish flag?

Feel bad for Anderson but as soon as I seen him slow up over the jump and roll I got worried, it is a big jump that every rider hits every lap and every rider has jumped so far this weekend to finish the race.

Still super unlucky and wish it had not happend. Hope there are no serious injuries.

Are you allowed to make a post like that here?

I mean, anywhere else in comments, you can post whatever you want, but here anything negative true or not isn't allowed.

It's really hard not to be racist in national events like the MxDN. And then something like this happens.
