Very poor planning to be honest, wouldn't they of done practice during the day? Even if it was a result of one of the acts leaving it there prior to the FMX guys shouldn't they check things like that?

At an fmx event in Klamath Falls -in a horse arena- the riders were coming within a foot of the steel rafters. Couple of them touched it with their hands. Crazy! Luckily, no one hung their neck like that poor guy.
