Passed a guy last night on I-40 who was riding in board-shorts, sleeveless shirt, flip flops, and no helmet---------in a pouring thunderstorm.

Bro that was rough. All that luggage on the back......once that front end started into a mild tank slap, the weight of the luggage started hucking and it was over. And ya, with the weight of the bike pushing him into the pavement......that makes me nauseous. If you haven't felt that level of road rash, you don't know what pain is. Makes broken bones and surgeries feel like a soft tissue massage.

Damn. I worked in the loca shops around my area when I was a teenager and seeing people come in all road rash really steered me clear of street bikes. Damn that was rough.

The funny thing is most people don't think about that......even seasoned riders I've seen that haven't loaded up for a long trip before. You get the weight from side to side a little outta balance and hit a bump at 70......that becomes one cattywampus SOB. Add in some nice cushy air shocks and you got a homemade mechanical bull. Another reason I prefer rigids.

Did you guys read the description? Kids are watching peppa pig, let's see if this guy eats it!!

This guy merged onto the I-80E (Sacramento, CA) on his motorcycle as we were driving in the fast lane. As he merged, his bike would shake and wobble. He sometimes would only have one hand on the handle bars while it was shaking!! We couldn't figure out why it was shaking, but we noticed it would only do it once he hit high speeds. We paced him for 5-10 miles after watching him "almost" loose control (about 5 or 6 times), so I got my phone out, thinking "its only a matter of time before he crashes" and I wanted the video as evidence in case anyone else got hurt. Sure enough the very moment I get my phone out, happens to be the time he loses control. We pulled over immediately.....called 911, and help the man (and his bike) off to the side of the road as quickly as possible. He did walk over to the right shoulder by himself. His face was really mashed up (his nose looked broken) and arms covered in blood. Crazy road rash!!! I still wonder how he's doing Sad
Oh, and the sirens you hear in the background aren't because he's being chased by the cops....my kids were watching peppa pig.....it was just a coincidence Wink

Wow nuts. I'm sure the police and insurance agencies would be interested in that footage and background.

Legit that's what It looks like. I have a 110ci Harley and have sheared pulley bolts before. 135ft lb of torque fuck things up quick.
