I picked up a new 2008 CBR1000RR on Halloween from Southern Honda for $6,983 with a lifetime engine warranty. They just went up $300 to $7,283.

I have a brand new '06 YZF 450 with about 1 hour on the motor that I'm willing to let go for $3500. If you don't have the money, or not all of it, I'll take a deposit to lock anyone in, but it's not refundable, anybody interested give BL a holler...

How about including craigslist ads for used bikes that are KILLER deals ..... You know, the kind you come across and think "Shit if I had the money right now...." We all know someone that would benefit from finding a smokin deal to get them either on a bike for the first time or get them back into the sport .....

I just wish there was a "motorcycle parts" section on craigslist like they have for cars and trucks, it wouldn't clutter up the ads with parts and bikes could be separate.....I have emailed them numerous times requesting this and never received a response but there should be a section there to easily search for parts it would be mutually beneficial to the seller and buyer.

I would have died to get that deal back when I was into hard core sportbikes. ten years ago it was hard to find a dealer that would sell a new R1 for under ten grand

I am just going to stick to my crusty Fz1 for now

Anyone know how we ask the administrators on here to make the forum a reality for us? I really think people would use it... especially if we only post Bikes.... keep the gear stuff in the bazaar??

I sold my 02 VFR800 a year and a half ago for $6500 and when I found this one for $6,983 I just couldn't resist. To make it a little more comfortable I have rearsets ordered to drop the pegs and move them back a bit, a "gel" seat, helibars, throttlemeister, and a touring screen. Also picked up a couple grand worth of other stuff like exhaust, power commander, autotune, irc, sliders, alarm, 520 kit, speedohealer etc. I'm a mod junkie.
