Cool pictures, I think Chuck Sun and Ron Lechien are there. JT did up helmets and gear special for the race. Anybody have race result link?

from Racerhead: (major kudos for reppin' the Two-Eight!)

David Bailey sent over some pieces that Team USA's Chuck Sun and Jim Gibson will be wearing. We’ll have more on this cool race next week.

Great place for a race. First race I ever went to, outside the US, was the MXdeNations in 1980 at Farleigh Castle.
Took these pics of the great Andre Mahlherbe.

Im heading off there in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately Coppins, Pichon and Everts were all supposed to be riding but obviously they're injured, still, Im really looking forward to seeing Stanton ride and there are many other famous names riding from the past and present.

The actual Nations race is later today.

Jeff Stanton on the Legends parade lap. Bit of a crappy photo I afraid, just taken with my phone...

Unfortunately he got caught up in a first turn pile up with Jamie Dobb and a few others and had to work his way through the pack. I think TeamUSA finished third overall.

Quite possibly the best motocross race I've ever been to.

Some photos tomorrow.

I like that intro, these girls know how to tease. Still shouldn't they be some former/vet 30 sec boards girls to be fair? Smile

Was Stanton riding a 1980 CR250? How was he able to get it to stop? Laughing

I drooled over this bike at the 1987 Motocross De Nations in New York. Later (much later) Keith Bowen came on hear and said it wasn't exactly what one might have imagined it to be.

Fantastic!

This event is just going to grow and grow and the Nations race is getting more serious every year.

edit; Just read the thread on MXtrax, apparently a few other star names from the US have already expressed an interest.

Werner De Wit won the individual VMXdN, but Britain won the team overall. (De Wit was flying when I saw him on Sunday!!)

In total there are about 40 different races over the weekend, the VMXdN is a four race mini series.
