This week's Vital MX Forum QNA is with Zach Osborne. From racing here in the U.S., to giving the GPs a go, Zach has done it all. Heck, he's even been a "guest" on an MXoN squad, and done the Six Days. This isn't even his first stint as a Vital MX poster. He's hung out here before. Bring your best questions. He'll be here this week to answer them.

Dear Zachary
Money payout aside.
If you could put one championship on the mantle next year would it mean more to you to have a World title or the U.S. national title?

Do you have any plans to return to the GPs?

Much respect to you men that have given it a go over there. I know it must be extremely difficult to leave the States

Thanks

On a scale of 1 to 10, how different is it setting up suspension for GP versus AMA national motocross race tracks?

1 being equal for both series, 10 being "night and day" different. Thanks!

Hey Zach Smile .

Question... When will you race the 2016 Husky's? Monster Cup or '16 SX?

Hey Zach! I remember you putting in the long hours at Lommel and then shredding it at the GP. Because you have raced almost everything (nationals, GPs, six days, ...), what is the toughest race out there, meaning which race makes you having a nightmare if somebody mention it?

You've been staying with the Tomacs. Who's gnarlier? John or Eli?

Out of those two it's a tough one. For me the crown jewel is the 450 SX title. If I had to choose probably the GP title. Just because of diversity in the series. I would definitely entertain the idea of a return to the GP's but I also want to do some off-road and especially the Dakar so I'm sure at some point I will have to decide what I want to do more. That's a ways down the road though!

Probably a 6-7. The main thing is here you are going to a similarly prepped track 90% of the time. There you could be going hard, sand, loam just about anything and due to communication issues or whatever the case is you may go to a track one year and it be awesome and come back the next and it be blue groove. It's often a guessing game and for that reason you just can't pull off having one setting that you made on a track here in the states.

Monster cup. I'll ride the 350 there and maybe some select SX races next year. Hopefully full time in 17 on the 450.

Monster cup I believe but I'm not positive. We go to the dealer meeting and the global MX launch for the new bikes next week so I will get to ride them there. Looking forward to that a lot!

A GP at Lommel is about as hard as it gets in terms of the motocross side of things. Six days and other stuff I've done are hard but a different type of hard.

Eli for sure. He likes to go hard all the time. John is a little more laid back and keeps its pretty steady where Eli just kills it all the time.

Considerably. If anything it's a little less than I was doing before but a lot more intensity and sophisticated training. I really enjoy being here and they've been great to me.

When you rode for Dixon in Europe, were you riding the three-speed high-rpm setup that team is currently known for? If so, what did you think of the bike? Positives and negatives of that setup?

Also, are you still involved with Club MX?

Hi Zachary. First of all, thank you for taking some of your time to read our questions.

First, will you be on the gate at the USGP of Glen Helen ? And if yes, would you ride the 350 or the 450 ?

My second (and last) question concern MXON. I think you're, along with Martin and Webb, one of the three 250 riders that have a big shot at defending USA in France ar Ernée. What will it takes to take that place at the motocross of nations ?

Is the husky team autonomous in regards to setup, or does the ktm team share their info since the huskies are similar to last years ktm?

Yes I was. It was insanely fast. Only issue was at that time it occasionally grenaded lol. But we had it headed in the right direction when I left.

Oh and I heard you were traing with the Tomac's. What did you learn, how did they help you in your preparation ?

I'm not totally sure about the GP yet. Either way, on the gate or not, I will definitely be there. As for the mxon spot, it would take some wins before the end of the season. I feel like I could do a good job for the team and I know the atmosphere and tracks and am very comfortable there. I hope I get that chance someday.

It's been "occasionally" again this year on the Kawasakis, poor Anstie. Laughing It has to be weird hardly ever shifting a 250...

Not completely. We share most things I would say. I'm sure there will be more sharing next year.

Well, if you're still here with us, I will ask you another one. XD

Have you keep an eye on the GP's this year ? If yes, do you think, from the rider point of view, that Romain Febvre can, maybe, be the next big thing over there ?
