Yesterday RacerX hosted a Pro Ride Day at Glen Helen and it was excellent.
In the morning the track was open to industry people, but the whole afternoon was for AMA Pro riders only.
Here's the video I made from from the Pro practice:
I spent most of my time capturing video, but I also took a few pictures and I'll post them soon.

Curious how Pourcel looked in terms of speed compared to the other guys ...
It's hard to say about Pourcel, as he spends a lot of time just cruising. At one point I saw Baggett go after him, catching Pourcel rather quickly. However, I couldn't tell if Pourcel was going full speed or not.
A week ago at GH I saw him doing a long and hard moto towards the end of the day, but yesterday it seemed that he was more concerned about just riding around and hiding his speed.
The Shop
On the first lap of the industry practice I went for the double, over jumped it, and slammed against the face of the triple. Ouch! I didn't crash, but it was a hard hit. The launch is very steep, and it's deceiving how far it will throw you.
That's one of the little "hidden" moments that I didn't expect anyone to pick up. Glad you noticed it!
thanks for sharing!!
Glen Helen is MX paradise this days
Anderson was one of the fastest guys on the track. He is in great shape, doing long motos and charging the whole time.
Cunningham goes for the double in the back. This is a tough jump that got progressively more difficult as the face of the jump started wearing down.
I haven's seen Sean Collier at the track for a few years, but he's still really fast.
A few more pictures to come soon, but as I said earlier I spent most of my time capturing video and only have a few stills.

Yamaha Hill is on the left of the picture and Mt. Saint Helen on the right.
If you click on the picture, it takes you to a bigger sized version, and you can see more of the details.
