Only 5 bikes in super Evo? I would expect more at an event like this..
I know chuck was really wanting a win! Good job. I will make the trip over someday.

60 riders in every class (1000s upon 1000s try to get an entry). Just showing top 5 results.

Yes you must attend the event each year for sure!

It was a great event as always, Biblical rain on saturday night made it a mare on Sunday, Mike Brown was the class of the weekend, but a bike DNF and a crash, kept him out of the results in 2 classes.

The 1 for a win points system means you can win 3 moto's and a dnf will give you a 63 point total which will see you get beaten by a guy going 15-15-15-15.

There's quite a few results listed on the MXA page linked above.

That event looks like an absolute blast for both riders and spectators. Do they change the location at all, or is it always Farleigh Castle?

Bummer. It's be cool to see it run on an old school track like Unadilla.

How are the riders selected? In other words, who gets to ride the event?

I believe the event is open to everyone. You just have to sign up. However I'm not sure how the final selection are made. First come, first served? Draw?

Here's the official website for the VMXDN http://www.vetsmxdn.co.uk There's some info on there.

Not trying to be rude but it doesn't get any more Old School than Farleigh Castle.

You'd be hard pressed to find a track that is more 'old school' than Farleigh Castle, Sully.

Oh, I know about Farleigh Castle, I guess I just worded my post wrong: It'd be cool to see it on an old school US track like Unadilla. It sure as hell wouldn't be cost effective to do it the way I'd like to see it, though, because they'd have to knock out all the jumps, dig out the start straight, and throw out the grass seed.

It really is a great event and such a cool fun track to both ride and watch. The top guys were incredible to watch, especially Mike Brown on his twin shock Husky. I don't think he would've gone any quicker on a modern 450. It's really cool to see what these old bikes are capable of

I was fortunate enough to get an entry this year and even though I wasn't very fast and had bike problems that meant I could only do 2 out of 4 races, I had an absolute blast. It's an event I would recommend to anyone

Still haven't got round to attending this event, idiotic I know. Just seen a clip of Anderson stopping for a beer on the last lap in a fitting tribute to 'Carla'
